CAPITOL STEPS’ New Musical Review

IT AIN’T OVER ‘TIL THE FIRST LADY SINGS

To Play Limited Run at the Douglas Fairbanks Theatre

(first performance Tuesday, June 6)

The Capitol Steps are bringing their musical, “IT AIN’T OVER ‘TIL THE FIRST LADY SINGS” to the Douglas Fairbanks Theatre (432 W. 42nd Street).  “Sings” is being produced by Eric Krebs in association with the Capitol Steps and marks the third off-Broadway engagement of the Company in New York.

It’s an election year and what is more appropriate than a return to New York City of the CAPITOL STEPS, the unique and irreverent musical political satire troupe who will bring down the House…and the Senate.

OPENING NIGHT WILL BE THURSDAY, JUNE 15 at 8:00 PM

While the laughs are unlimited, this will be strictly a limited engagement that will play through Saturday, September 2 at 8 PM.  “It Ain’t Over ‘Til the First Lady Sings!” (as of this writing) will be the only theatre attraction to have a Thursday matinee.  The performance schedule will be as follows:

·        Tuesday-Saturday @ 8:00 PM

·        Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday matinees @ 2:30

Tickets are $45.  There will be a unique Student Election Year rush- any student who comes to the box office will be able to purchase a ticket in advance, subject to performance availability, at $22.50.
